As an Assistant Principal at Alliance O'Donovan Middle School, I am so excited to continue to strengthen the instructional program during the 2019-20 school year! I am very passionate about collaborating with teachers to support all students both academically and social-emotionally. I look forward to ensuring that all of our scholars have access to excellent instruction and that we take O'Donovan to the Platinum level!!
I am originally from Minnesota and I majored in English Literature at Carleton College. After undergrad, I moved to Los Angeles and started teaching ELA & Special Education at Manual Arts High School in South LA where I also served as the English Department Chair. At that time, I received my master's degree in Special Education at Loyola Marymount University. More recently, I worked as an Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal at Collegiate Charter High School until I became the Assistant Principal at O'Donovan.
In my free time, I love camping, hiking, singing, going to concerts, watching Netflix, hanging out with my husband and our two kitties, and relaxing on the beach with friends.
